Perpetual Fitness – CrossFit

Over the course of the next few weeks we will be introducing 5 tests of fitness in a variety of domains. The goal of these tests is to increase our general physical preparedness (GPP) and become all around fitter humans.

We will begin by completing a baseline test for each task, and then we will systematically work to improve our capacity over the next 2-3 months. We will then retest.

Our first task is running!
Today you will choose one event from the list below as a time trial. Each week there will be one day where the WOD will focus on running, and our retest will take place at the North East Ohio Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run on December 9, 2018!!
We will be focusing not only on improving our endurance, but our actual running form as well.

I know people like to joke about running, but the truth is that your ability to run a mile in a reasonable time is as much (if not more) of an indication of your overall health as your blood pressure and heart rate.

“I love running and running loves me!!”
