I’m grateful for our athletes, our coaches, and great workouts at Perpetual Fitness … but I want to know what you’re grateful for!
Check out this video where I explain the idea behind Perpetual Gratitude.
And next time you workout with us, write one thing you’re grateful for on the board!
Hey!
Welcome to our newsletter series. We’ll use this series to keep you informed on what’s going on at Perpetual Fitness, including special events, new additions to the gym, workout changes, and much, much more! I’m so grateful that you’re here.
What’s In Store For November?
We focused a lot on our front squat strength cycle, with a minor focus on barbell cycling during October. In November, we’re shifting our focus to barbell cycling and introducing a ‘Dynamic Strength’ cycle as our new minor focus!
Dynamic Strength is designed to target all areas of strength in supersets rather than working only one muscle group. This type of training combines strength components, such as sumo deadlifts, followed by an explosive accessory movement, like explosive broad jumps.
In preparation for the 2018 Crossfit Open, we’re also replacing our handstand walk movement sessions with bar muscle-up sessions. We’re hoping to see athletes complete their first bar muscle-ups with these sessions and have them able to string a few reps together closer to the Open!
